Are Hunter Gatherer products nut free?
Hunter Gatherer batch #50 (nut free) protein granola contains no nuts. However, our products are made in an environment where nuts are used for other products. We have a thorough cleaning process in between making batches and do our best to avoid cross-contamination but we are unable to 100% guarantee that there are no traces of nuts in batch #50 (nut free) protein granola.
Our other products, batch #49 (the o.g.) protein granola, batch #58 (low sugar) protein granola and batch #64 (cacao crunch) protein granola, contain nuts.
Are Hunter Gatherer products Low FODMAP?
Hunter Gatherer batch #64 (cacao crunch) protein granola is a Low FODMAP granola. It is also absolutely delicious and one of our favourites. We are in the process of getting batch #64 (cacao crunch) protein granola officially certified as Low FODMAP so look out for an update
Do you use any artificial ingredients, preservatives or seed or palm oils?
No. Hunter Gatherer Foods uses only real, natural and wherever possible, organic, ingredients. We have no artificial ingredients or preservatives and no seed, palm or vegetable oils in our products.
Are Hunter Gatherer products gluten free?
We have gluten intolerant members of our family and we made this granola for them! Hunter Gatherer protein granola is made with gluten-free ingredients, including wheat-free rolled oats, and is suitable for those with gluten intolerance. (Our products are made in an environment where gluten may be present, and although we do have a thorough cleaning process, there is a small but unlikely chance of cross-contamination.)

All of our products are vegan!
Do you accept returns?
Given the nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, we are confident you will be completely satisfied with our products!

Which countries do you source your ingredients from?
We do our very best to source local Australian ingredients. However, due to seasonal availability and difficulty sourcing commercial quantities locally, we sometimes need to find ingredients from overseas. Where this happens, we try to source from countries where the ingredient is natively grown and, wherever possible, we find an organic and sustainable source.
Where are Hunter Gatherer products made?
Hunter Gatherer Foods is an Australian family-owned business. All of our products are handmade in Sydney, Australia.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes, Hunter Gatherer Foods uses recyclable packaging. However, we are constantly looking at improving our sustainability and are about to move to using 100% compostable and biodegradable packaging, so please keep an eye out for our update.
Why is Hunter Gatherer protein granola more expensive than some other granolas I can buy in the major supermarkets?
Hunter Gatherer granola is a luxurious, protein rich product crafted with only the highest quality ingredients. Unlike supermarket granolas, we have created ours using a science-based ‘food as medicine’ approach. We don’t use fillers or low-cost substitutes. Every ingredient has been carefully chosen, and included for a reason. These superior ingredients are significantly more expensive to source but ensure you're getting a product that’s packed with real, wholesome nutrition, and is healthy enough to eat every day.
Additionally, our granola is made in small batches with care and attention to detail, ensuring quality and freshness in every bag.
Hunter Gatherer protein granola is nothing like what you can buy in a supermarket. It’s not just breakfast or a snack—it’s an investment in your health and well-being.
Can I buy your product in a store?
Not at the moment but please check back soon because we are working on this! In the meantime, you can buy from our online store. We have subscription and free shipping options, so that your granola never runs out!
Where do you deliver to?
Hunter Gatherer Foods delivers to all of Australia. We only deliver to physical addresses and not to PO Boxes.
How quickly will my order arrive?
All Hunter Gatherer products are shipped with Sendle. We will dispatch your order within 3-5 business days. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking details. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about your delivery.
